What I find interesting as well is the audience and the economics of these shows: they remind me of the audience & funders of the first theatres shows in which at the end it was the wealthy funding their own satires; do you think it's because of a massive battle within the wealthiest demographics?
But let's not forget that Season 1 of The White Lotus -- which is where it earned its acclaim and renewal -- ended with the wealthy cluelessly trodding over the working class and the working class suffering, and losing, as a result.
